ONCE WAS LOST

Why the Owl logo? Well here's the story...

Like most of these things, it all started with a few (secretly competitive) friends getting together to stay active and do something on the weekends. We invited each other along for local and regional adventure races, fell in LOVE with the sport, and thought - Why not host a race in Cincinnati?!

If you've participated in a race before, you know that one of the fun perks is creating a team name. One of our early team names was "Once Was Lost". We thought it was clever, given that we're Jesus-Followers, but also the goal of a race is definitely to NOT GET LOST. (Though it happens to the best of us!)

 

From there we began to abbreviate it as "OWL" - and that brings us to the logo. A Tribal-esque owl.

At the heart of Owl Adventure Racing is a few friends, secretly competing with one another in the pursuit of being the best versions of ourselves as Fathers, Husbands, and Jesus-Followers.
